Job Title: Financial Accountant
About the Role:

The Financial Accountant is a key member of the Corporate Finance and Financial Reporting team within the Finance and Business Services Division (F&BS). They are responsible for providing high quality financial reporting, services, and advice to stakeholders across the University.

Main Responsibilities:

To contribute to the production and delivery of high quality, informative, accurate, and timely financial reporting for the University;
To provide high quality financial reporting, services, and advice to stakeholders across the University;
To support the delivery of timely information and financial reports to senior management to enable compliance with regulations;
To have a strong understanding of financial management principles and provide advice, support, and assistance on the implementation of various local and University wide finance related initiatives;
To work collaboratively with staff within the F&BS team and with finance professionals across the broader University community.
