Job Description

As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our business through its next growth phase. You will be responsible for all facets of finance, including AR/AP, Reconciliations, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting.

You will report directly to the CEO and Board of Directors, ensuring timely preparation, analysis and presentation of management reports to all stakeholders.

You will also work closely with external advisors in managing statutory taxation obligations, including Income Tax, SGC FBT, BAS.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance with CA/CPA qualifications
Significant accounting experience, including recent experience in a similar level role within a commercial environment
A track record of providing strategic financial leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in preparing board reports and presentations
Proven ability to understand key financial and business variables in a complex and changing commercial environment
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver regular financial performance reports and budgets to the CEO & Board of Directors
Build productive working relationships with all stakeholders to understand business operations and financial information needs
Manage the organisation's cash flows and financial reporting obligations, with responsibility for timely preparation, analysis and presentation of management reports to all stakeholders
Work closely with external advisors in managing statutory taxation obligations, including Income Tax, SGC FBT, BAS
Collaborate, design, implement and review finance systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement
