Job Description

Job description
Beech House Veterinary Surgery

Beech House Veterinary Surgery is looking for a driven and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our well-equipped practice based in Radcliffe, Manchester. You will be joining a practice with access to a large, varied and very interesting caseload and along with a very wide range of modern equipment including; digital x-ray, dental x-ray, modern ultrasound, full endoscopy suite, multiparameter and a wide variety of in house lab facilities.

We are looking for a motivated RVN who is confident and proactive who can help our clinic deliver the best possible care with a high standard of customer service. This is a role that offers the chance to join a small but very well-established practice with many loyal clients, varied cases, and the chance to be a hero to our clients and their pets.

We also hope our new colleague can help mentor our recently qualified RVNs and work to help build confidence in our New Graduate vets too.

Why join us ?

Established in 200+, we've gone from strength to strength and our friendly and experienced veterinary team provides the highest quality of care.

Our experienced veterinary team are on hand to support you with inpatient cases, surgery and hospital treatment plans– along with regular check-ups and routine procedures.

Our clinic accepts referrals in medicine, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery and orthopaedic procedures. We are also supported regionally with a referral service in ophthalmology with other areas up and coming.

Are you a nurse who loves schedule 3? Do you have drive to grow our nurse clinics? Do you see yourself as a clinical coach? Are x-rays and imaging your thing? Or does your passion lie with lab work? This role can be moulded to suit your aspirations. Possibilities here are endless for a nurse who wants to continuously develop.

Our practice is very easily accessible by car or public transport. We have parking available around the surgery area for our team who drive.

Knowing the great bond which exists between owners and their pets, we strive to treat all pets in our care with compassion, always giving them the utmost care and attention whilst keeping our clients involved in decision making.

We are keen to support our team's development and currently have an RVN studying towards a certificate in Medicine.

Does any of the above tick any boxes? If so, please get in touch so we can explore this further.

Salary And Hours

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week but we are open to flexible working discussions during interview.

Our practice opening hours are Monday to Friday 07:45 to 1+:00 and Saturdays 08:30 to 17:30.

Our practice is supported out of hours by MiNightVet Manchester.
