The role

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be working as part of the QA team where you will be responsible for building, maintaining the automation framework and ensuring high quality software is delivered.

You are critical for the improvement of quality, shipping better products more consistently. Working with the team in an Agile development environment, you will drive the efforts in assessing, mitigating risks and solving quality challenges.

What you will be doing
Develop effective, reusable and maintainable test automation scripts.
Work with product and engineering teams to plan, develop and execute test cases and suites.
Contribute to test plan, test strategy for functional as well as non-functional requirements.
Work with the team to develop automation framework using various design patterns and installing required packages.
Integrate the test automation runs to CICD pipeline.
Debug, review code for other team members and provide feedback.
Develop and update automation scripts to ensure functional coverage.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure the best possible outcome.
Stay abreast of industry software testing tools and best practices.


What you'll need to succeed
4+ years of experience in writing and running test automation scripts.
Experience with Web and API testing.
Experience with one or more of these test automation tools – Cypress, Selenium, Protractor/WebdriverIO, BrowerStack etc.
Hands-on experience with one or more following programming/scripting languages: TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Node.js, etc.
Working knowledge of Git, Agile software development and Jira.
Nice to have: Experience using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tool.
Nice to have: Exposure to Salesforce and the Finance domain.
