Job Title: Financial Accountant
This is a great opportunity for a financially skilled individual to join our high-performing finance team in a growing business.

You will gain exposure to complex reporting, APRA compliance, and cross-functional collaboration under the guidance of an experienced finance leader with over 10 years of industry experience.

The Role
As a key member of the finance team, you will play an important role in financial reporting, governance, and compliance. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive efficiencies and process improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS and insurance industry regulations
Supporting regulatory reporting for APRA, GST BAS, and stamp duty while maintaining high accuracy
Managing month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
Ensuring robust internal controls are in place to support the business in maintaining financial integrity and risk management
We are looking for a technically strong, detail-oriented financial accountant who thrives in a structured, fast-moving, and regulated environment.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

CA/CPA qualification (or working towards it)
3-5 years' experience in financial accounting within insurance or servicing insurance clients in business services
Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a large, structured finance team
