Key Responsibilities
Perform the Lead Maintenance Technician role on a rotating basis, providing technical advice to support drivers and minimizing in-service faults.
Raise 'Incidents' in SAP based on first contact from drivers or onboard systems, ensuring high-quality reporting for effective repairs.
Liaise with superintendents to effect repairs without impacting in-service performance.
Assist in identifying and producing vehicle modification programs to enhance reliability and maintainability.
Monitor fleet performance using onboard diagnostics and remote monitoring systems, providing KPIs on critical systems such as HVAC, toilets, and doors.

An in-depth knowledge of the NGR fleet and sub-systems.
Significant experience in a technical role maintaining and repairing the NGR fleet.
Relevant trade and/or engineering qualifications.
