Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Robe site in South Australia. The successful candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for general machine maintenance, ensuring production targets are achieved in line with customer requirements.

A key focus of this role will be undertaking scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance for all company plant and equipment. This will involve diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.

Study drawings and specifications of various company plant and equipment to determine suitable material, method, and machine settings in line with Australian Standards.

Fabrication, welding, assembly, and subassembly of metal parts to plant and equipment.

Ensuring all fabricated and assembled components are checked for accuracy and fit using precision measuring tools.

Use of lathes, mills, presses and other workshop equipment to repair, modify and construct equipment components.

Form metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, weld, bore and drill metal.

Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.

Maintenance of a clean and tidy workshop and other work locations.
