About The Gold Coast Intellectual, Developmental Disability Mental Health Service
The IDD mental health team is a new, specialist, community-based mental health service. We provide support, education, and training to consumers, families/carers, and treating teams, and advanced healthcare to young people and adults with complex neurodevelopmental conditions and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
Apply advanced and highly specialised knowledge and evidence based clinical management principles of cognitive, developmental, neurological, psychiatric and sensory disabilities for patients
Deliver advanced level psychological or neuropsychological assessment, formulation, brief intervention, positive behaviour support planning
Provide expert guidance to service planning and lead implementation of evidence based reviews
Contribute to clinical governance and professional competence, providing advanced training and supervision to psychologists, psychology registrars and higher education students
Qualifications and Experience
A tertiary degree in Psychology
AHPRA Registration
Driver Licence
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
Permanent full time or permanent part time (one full time position or several part time positions, hours negotiable)
Temporary full time and temporary part time (one full time position or several part time positions, up to 12 months with the possibility of extension, hours negotiable)
Base salary ranging from $144 ++1 - $151 28+ per annum, $5 557.50 - $5 57+8.+0 per fortnight, $73.12 - $76.30 per hour
