Job Description

Our front of house security staff are the face of Downer and play a pivotal role in delivering the service commitment we have made to our clients. The successful candidates will possess a strong work ethic, achieve highest level of safety, quality of work and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

This role will report to the Security Supervisor and will deliver a range of services including but not limited to:

Facilitate the operation of security and access systems
Maintain surveillance of the site, including monitoring all personnel while on site
Monitor, manage, control and record all communications across the site
Support Helpdesk Service as required
Support and assist the Security Supervisor, as required

Qualifications

Must be an Australian Citizen
Current Defence Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain
A NSW or ACT Security Licence (or ability to acquire before commencement)
A Certificate II in Security Operations (or ability to acquire before commencement)
Experience in Security industries preferred but not essential
A current NSW or ACT drivers’ licence
The ability to work a rotating roster
