Group Accountant

I am working exclusively with a fast-growing services business based in Knutsford that is looking to recruit a few roles due to growth an acquisition.

There is an urgent need for a Group Accountant. This role is initially an interim role on an ongoing basis.

Reporting to the Finance Director this role will assist with the integration of the new accountancy system, work with the integration of the new finance team, look at procedures for Management Accounts and prepare the Group Accounts on a monthly basis.

This is a senior role within the Finance team and will be looking after other member of the team. My client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis. The role will require you to partner with C-suite individuals and the wider teams within the group, be heavily involved in business planning, and in some of the smaller functions you will be quite involved in the day-to-day Accounting and Finance.

A crucial element of the role will be the improvement of financial processes and reporting across the group to high standards, supported by the wider team.

The right candidate for the role will be;

A qualified accountant with at least 3-5 years PQE. Ideally you will have successful extensive Group Accounting skills having worked with acquisitions and integration. You will be able to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders, but especially C-Suite level, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
