Job title: Senior Consultant/Lead Consultant (Filenet Admin)

Location: (Chennai, Bangalore, Pune)

Job Type: Hybrid

Experience: 08-12 years

Technical Requirements:
• Install, configure, and support of IBM FileNet technology
• Excellent knowledge in administering J2EE based application servers with WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, and WebSphere Portal
• Strong Experience with web servers with IHS, Apache and IIS
• Experience in supporting messaging-oriented middleware such as WebSphere MQ, WMB, and IIB
• Experience in Informatica and Business Intelligence/Objects technologies
• .NET platform familiarity
• Experience with Unix, AIX, and Windows Operating Systems
• Basic knowledge of networking
• Have good exposure in Clusters, JMS, Virtual Hosts, JDBC, LDAP, auto-deployment, session replication, URL redirects, rewrite rules, http-plugins, etc.
• Deploy code and program updates across development, QA, and Production environments
• Able to troubleshoot based on documented guides as well as past experience
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve new problems by extrapolating and making assumptions based on prior knowledge of related issues
• Able to identify operational deficiencies and make recommendations/implement remediation
• Able to define root cause and propose comprehensive remediation plan
• Able to articulate technical knowledge to junior and/or non-technical staff in a precise and easy to understand manner
• Technical certifications are a plus
• Knowledge of UNIX shell or Perl scripting. and database is a plus.

Role & responsibilities:
• The primary function of the Application Administrator is to implement, maintain, monitor and support production and non-production application landscapes hosted in the datacenter
• Excellent team player with good communication skills
• Administer and support customer n-tier applications
• Support installation, configuration and troubleshooting web servers & application servers
• Implement up to date security patches and remediate security vulnerabilities
• Application code deployment and implementation
• Good knowledge on ITIL practices and ITSM tools.
• Present technical findings including future recommendations
• Assist in defining engineering standards and ensuring standards are executed within the environment
• Keep support document up-to-date
• Proactively identify and automate the routine tasks or hand over to operations
• Implement customer projects in a timely manner
• Capacity planning
• Performance tuning
• Automation of Middleware related activities.
• Support level 1 & level 2 resources whenever required.
