Position Overview:
The Senior Associate - IT and Networking is responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure and networking systems to ensure seamless operations. The role involves implementing robust solutions, supporting business requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance IT efficiency and security.
The Role and Responsibilities:
· IT Infrastructure Management
o Administer and maintain hardware, servers, and software systems, including patch management and upgrades.
o Ensure uptime and availability of systems, including disaster recovery and backup solutions.
o Manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
· Networking
o Configure and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and access points.
o Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
o Implement and manage VPNs, VLANs, and network security protocols.
· System Administration
o Manage user access controls, permissions, and authentication systems.
o Troubleshoot OS issues for Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
o Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core IT services.
· IT Security
o Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
o Conduct periodic vulnerability assessments and system audits.
o Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data protection regulations.
· Technical Support
o Provide Tier 2/3 support for hardware and software issues.
o Support end-users with technical challenges and ensure resolution within defined SLAs.
o Document incidents, solutions, and best practices.
o Provide Technical support to the virtual team members.
· Collaboration and Documentation
o Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and issue resolution.
o Prepare and maintain IT documentation, including network diagrams, asset inventories, and SOPs.
Qualification and Experience:
• Educational Qualification:
· Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience:
· 1–3 years of relevant experience in IT and Networking roles.
• Technical Skills:
· Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network devices.
· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
· Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
· Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Soft Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Certifications (Preferred):
· CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, ITIL, or equivalent certifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
