Path Planning for mobile robots, arm manipulation
Simulation environments such as Gazebo
Eight to twelve plusyears of experience
Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science
Expert in Robotics (ROS2)
Expert in software systems architecture and design
Comfortable acting in a customer-facing role
Experience with Linux
Fluency in technical oversight, mentoring, and review of project work efforts from junior-level engineering personnel
Ability to oversee and conduct project design reviews, identification of project risks, and development of risk mitigation strategies and approaches
Expert using Git
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Boston Engineering seeks an experienced Principal RoboticsSoftware Engineer.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
• Develop solutions from the specification phase through the final delivery and acceptance testing
• Approach designs from a system perspective
• Lead the software development of complex robotics systems
• Research and quickly learn new technologies
