The Role

As a Digital Test Lead, you will lead a team of Test Engineers, ensuring digital products – spanning over 50 websites and 10 mobile apps – provide the best possible experience for customers. You’ll champion a shift-left testing approach, embedding quality early in the development lifecycle while collaborating closely with developers and product teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Leading and mentoring a team of Test Engineers to embed quality practices early in the SDLC.
• Driving a shift-left testing approach, ensuring defects are prevented rather than detected.
• Exploring and modelling complex systems efficiently using various heuristics and techniques.
• Contributing throughout the SDLC, from design and refinement to release and monitoring.
• Championing test practices within development teams to improve overall performance.
• Developing and evolving test strategies based on project risks and context.

What We’re Looking For:
• 8+ years of experience in software testing, ideally within large-scale web and mobile applications.
• Expertise in shift-left testing principles, including TDD, BDD, and exploratory testing.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools (WebdriverIO, Cypress, Playwright, Jest/Supertest).
• Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of non-functional testing (Security, Performance, Resilience, Accessibility).
• Experience in Ecommerce (Desirable).
• Certifications in Agile Testing (ISTQB Agile, Rapid Software Testing) (Desirable).
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) (Desirable).
