The Role
We are seeking a full-time, permanent Security Service Technician to join our Service Department. This role will involve performing various tasks, including:
Security system servicing and maintenance, troubleshooting, fault finding, programming and commissioning on alarm, access control, CCTV and IP camera surveillance systems;
NVRs, network routers, switches and other hardware installation, cabling, conduits fitting off, and programming new devices;
Commissioning systems and testing inputs through to our security monitoring centre control room;
Engaging with clients to ensure they receive a positive experience and excellent customer service;
Requirements
Previous experience as a Security Service Technician or in a similar role;
Completed security product training or system certifications in security solutions (such as Hills Reliance, Interlogix Tecom or Inner Range Integriti desirable);
Advanced technical capabilities and problem-solving skills;
Customer focused mindset, with the ability to work effectively independently and as a part of a team;
Able to prioritise tasks effectively and deliver works within specified appropriate timeframes;
Strong understanding of Health and Safety obligations and operational quality requirements;
South Australian Drivers Licence, South Australian Security Licence, ACMA Open Cabling Registration Licence, and White Card.

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written);
