Our ISS Health Team is growing, and we are currently seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join us at Modbury Hospital, on a part-time basis.

The position:

Collection, cleaning, assembly, packing and disinfection or sterilisation of instruments and holloware, including Endoscopes and Colonoscopes.
Knowledge of a range of instruments, sterilising methods, and infection control principles.
Understanding and ability to adhere to AS 536+:2026 and infection control principles.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Commitment to quality improvement, best practice and customer service.

Essential Criteria:

Certificate III in Sterilisation Services.
Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, Hep B, Polio, or ability to obtain.
Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Current Police Clearance no older than 3 months, or ability to obtain.
Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain.
