Job Description:
As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for helping clients prepare for, mitigate, and detect cyber security threats. You will have an understanding of computer science, operating system functionality, networking, cloud services, corporate network environments, and how to apply this knowledge to cyber security threats.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage resource plans to support project delivery. Manage and execute projects within the budget and timeline, leveraging modern project management techniques. Engage with stakeholders, users, and subject matter experts to pursue and deliver projects. Lead a performing engagement delivery team and encourage a performance culture. Create and maintain project plans and provide accurate and timely reports on project status. Focus on objectives, capabilities, and service results and benefits. Identify and manage project risks and opportunities. Engage with internal stakeholders and customers on consulting pre-sales and support actions to enhance visibility on the consulting practice. Adhere to enterprise policies and systems, including finance, safety, environmental, risk, and compliance. Demonstrate safety behaviors consistent with enterprise strategies and manage projects according to requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. 4 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains. Certification in Cyber Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC). Experience leading cyber security assessments, including Table-Top Exercises (TTX). Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST CSF). Ability to present security concepts to varied audiences. Master's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
