About the Opportunity
Certis Security Australia is currently seeking full-time security officers to provide security services with a government client.
We have multiple positions on offer across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, North Brisbane and Redlands area's. This could be a great opportunity to work close to home.
Providing static security across Monday-Friday daytime hours, you will need impeccable presentation, great customer service skills and the ability to manage challenging customers.
Key Responsibilities
Works from instructions and procedures under general supervision, which may not necessarily be at the site where the officer is posted.
Assists in the provision of on-the-job training.
Exercises good interpersonal communications skills.
Ability to manage challenging customers.
Responsible for assuring the quality of their own work; and is required to act as first response to security incidents or matters.
Qualification
Mandatory
Current and applicable Security license with crowd control function.
Current First aid Certificate with CPR refreshed in the past 12 months.
Australian Citizen or Permanent resident or Visa holder with full working rights.
Ability to work Monday to Friday 8 hour shifts.
Ability to meet PEP Clearance requirements.
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical.
Experience
Experience in a similar role preferred.
