Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our client's dynamic team. Our client has over a decade of experience in providing quality education Australia wide.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
• Contribute to the improvement of development workflows, tools, and methodologies.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and share knowledge with the team.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends to continuously improve our products and processes.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with relevant technologies (e.g. web frameworks, databases, cloud platforms).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English (IELTS score of at least 6.0 in each component or equivalent).

Salary: $+8,000 plus superannuation
