Job Title: Mechanical Technician
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, lubricating, and performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure that systems and onsite infrastructure are operational, and issues are resolved safely, quickly, and efficiently.
Perform thorough inspections on equipment to identify potential issues.
Follow mechanical maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns, with a focus on lubrication maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and perform repairs to restore full functionality.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in a paper mill or manufacturing plant with a proven record of experience in lubrication, maintenance, and vibration-related issues.
Mechanical Engineering Certificate IV, diploma, degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Ability to problem-solve and work effectively as a team member.
Working Conditions
Full-time position with an 8-hour shift and overtime opportunities.
Overtime pay and supplementary pay available.
Work location: In-person at our facility.
