Job Title: Security Officer

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team in the Mental Health Services space.

About the Role:

We are a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. Our hospital remains one of the nation's most respected, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.

The successful candidate will have a strong emphasis on positive engagement with clinical teams, patients and their families in the provision of security services for the protection of people, property and crime prevention within Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) facilities.

This includes taking proactive steps in the early identification and prevention of incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

Licenced according to the Security Industry Act 1++7 - Class 1 A.
Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
Hold a current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 Licence acceptable).
Provide excellent customer service skills with a high degree of personal integrity and motivation.
Perform 12 hour shift work on a 24/7 rotating roster across the facilities within the District.

Requirements:

To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2026_015).
