Job Title: Carpenter

Location: Milsons Point, Sydney

Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Job Description:
Our client is a trusted leader in the building/demolition and construction industry. Specialising in safe and efficient building construction, they provide high-quality, professional services to both residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely dismantle and remove structures, including walls, floors, and framing, using a variety of hand and power tools.
Assess and safely remove wood, metal, and other building materials for recycling or disposal.
Safely operate demolition equipment, such as sledgehammers, power tools, and saws, as well as lifting equipment.
Work closely with site managers to follow safety protocols and demolition plans.
Cut, remove, and dispose of materials while maintaining structural integrity and minimising damage to surrounding areas.
Follow safety guidelines to protect yourself, team members, and the environment.
Maintain and organise tools, equipment, and work spaces to ensure efficiency and safety on the job site.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter, construction worker, or similar role, with a focus on demolition and deconstruction.
Strong knowledge of building structures and materials, and how to safely dismantle them.
Experience working with demolition tools and equipment (saws, hammers, drills, power tools).
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in challenging conditions.
Excellent attention to detail, especially regarding safety and precision.
Ability to assess and adapt to changing project conditions.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous demolition carpentry or construction experience.
Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and hazardous materials handling.
