About the Job:
This is a full-time, permanent position with 5 vacancies available. We are looking for a reliable and skilled Carpenter Helper to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Loading, unloading and transporting construction materials
Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades
Mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
Assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
Paving and raking asphalt
Assisting in demolishing buildings
Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
Valid Canadian work permit (if applicable)
No degree, certificate or diploma required
Ability to work outdoors, at heights, underground and in confined spaces
Physically demanding role with fast-paced environment and tight deadlines
Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads
Work Setting:
Varying locations, including industrial, commercial and institutional sites, pipelines, residential areas, roads and bridges, sidewalks and curbs, underground and tunnel work, and water mains

Salary and Employment Terms:
$23.80 per hour / 40 hours per week
