6 Month Labour Hire Contract

About the Role
The APS6 Graphic Designer will provide high-level graphic design support across the Communications branch, working four days a week, up to 32 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key duties include:

Designing materials for print and online distribution from concept development to execution, aligning with business objectives;
Collaborating on projects, providing expert creative advice to ensure high design standards;
Distilling complex information into effective visual communication products, such as diagrams and infographics;
Providing ongoing UX design ideas and interface (UX) design ideas for digital channels, including prototype development for various user interface elements;
Applying branding guidelines to ensure consistent campaign and product execution;
Leading the design and typesetting production of publications like annual reports, corporate plans, and Flight Safety Australia magazine under limited direction;
Key Capabilities
The ideal candidate will have:

Demonstrated experience in design and typesetting for print and UI/UX design for online products;
Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite software, such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD, FIGMA or other prototyping tools, in a Mac OS environment;
Exceptional visual communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information graphically to non-technical audiences;
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, including managing stakeholders and delivering outcomes that meet business objectives;
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks/projects with changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail;
Requirements
The position requires:

Australian Citizenship;
A National Police Check;
Preferred Qualifications
Qualifications in graphic or visual design or another related field are highly regarded.
