We are seeking 15 experienced APS 3 Data Entry Officers for a full-time, temporary role starting 1st April 2026, with potential extension. This position supports critical data remediation and case processing tasks as part of a major government initiative. The role offers flexibility with remote work options, though candidates must be available to attend capital city offices if required. Active Baseline security clearance is mandatory. 15 x APS 3 Data Entry Officer

Start: 1st April 2026
End: 30th June 2026, with potential extension up to 12 months (not exceeding 30th June 2027)
Location: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Tasmania, Darwin (Preference for candidates in these locations; however, staff may work remotely but must be able to attend a capital city office if required, per their work-from-home agreement.)
Full time: Up to 40 hours per week
Hourly rate: $36 - $43 per hour + 11.5% superannuation (changes to 12% super from 23rd June 2026) pay rate will depend on candidate's experience
Work from home: Possible, pending agreement
Clearance: Active Baseline security clearance required (candidates with expired or inactive clearances may be sponsored)
Police Check: National police check required

Background:
A staged digital implementation approach will require temporary data remediation, case processing, and data analysis/reporting capacity to accommodate an anticipated volume of work. This includes supporting key business processes during a critical transition period in the Australian Government's aging support programs.

Purpose:
We are seeking to procure vendor workforce services to support multiple business processes within a major government initiative. The work is expected to begin in April 2026, with peak requirements anticipated between June and November 2026.

Role Overview:
The Data Entry Officers will assist in a range of tasks related to data remediation and case processing. These include:

Working with internal teams to address data remediation incidents/defects using established procedures.
Administering data remediation and updates to records and processes in alignment with current system frameworks.
Updating provider information and other relevant records in key systems during the transition period.
Supporting communication campaigns and contract management.
Investigating data issues identified through other support channels.
Skills and Responsibilities:

Data Entry: Accurately entering and updating data records in various systems.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring data accuracy and consistency with minimal errors.
Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving discrepancies and issues in data.
Collaboration: Working effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, providing clear communication.
Desired Experience:

Previous experience with client relationship management systems (e.g., Siebel).
Familiarity with related data management systems will be highly regarded.
Active Baseline security clearance is a must.
