This apprenticeship program provides hands-on training and education in the skills and techniques required to become a qualified carpenter.
Responsibilities
As a carpentry apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting experienced tradespeople in the construction and renovation of buildings.
Tasks will include measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, as well as using various tools and equipment.
You will also be expected to participate in ongoing development and training programs to ensure your skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
Benefits
No training costs will be incurred by successful applicants.
You will be entitled to one paid day per week for training and development purposes.
Opportunities for ongoing employment with building and trade employers may arise at the end of the apprenticeship.
Requirements
Certificate III in Carpentry is a requirement for this role.
