Infrastructure Development Engineer

Job Overview

ATLAS Recruitment AU is seeking a skilled Bridge Construction Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative bridge and infrastructure projects. As a key member of our structural bridges team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex bridge and maritime projects, underpasses, retaining walls, and other infrastructure structures.

Responsibilities:

Develop design concepts and carry out detailed design of simple and complex bridges and maritime projects.
Plan and carry out site inspections of structures when required.
Perform advanced finite element analysis and soil-structure analysis.
Prepare design documentation, technical reports, and client specifications.
Manage interface with civil and geotechnical disciplines.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
2-5 years of demonstrated project experience relating to bridges and other civil structures.
Working knowledge of Australian legislation, latest codes and standards, AS5100, and Austroads standards.
Proficiency in Structural/Bridge analysis design software such as STRAND 7, SPACEGASS, and MIDAS.
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with engineers, drafters, and modellers.
