Job Description

This Head Chef role involves preparing fresh, nutritious meals for students. The ideal candidate will contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients, monitor stock levels to minimize wastage, and adhere to strict hygiene standards and food handling practices. The successful applicant will also be responsible for delivering healthy choices and guidance to the future generation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant will possess a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain. Additionally, they will have experience with cooking in bulk quantities, a strong understanding of allergen management and food safety, and a passion for providing healthy and nutritious food. A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role is required.
