Role Overview
The Engineering Pathways Specialist will play a key role in shaping the future of the engineering profession in Australia. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing experiential learning pathways for the engineering profession, working closely with stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop procedures and tools to support recognition of formal, informal, and experiential learning.
Responsibilities
Design and develop experiential learning pathways for the engineering profession
Work with stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop procedures and tools to support recognition of formal, informal, and experiential learning
Maintain effective process channels across EA
Review assessment outcomes for complex experiential learning cases
Demonstrate capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision
Requirements
Experience in recognising prior learning, particularly from workplace and continuing professional development experiences
Strong organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of quality assurance and continual improvement practice
Highly developed computer, analytical and communication skills both written and oral, with the capacity to assess applications and make objective decisions
Sensitivity to cross-cultural differences with a proven ability to liaise both professionally and effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
