Manual Test Engineer

Job description
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable QA (Quality Assurance) Tester who will be responsible for end-to-end testing of the application and ensure all issues are flagged and resolved before go-live.

You will be responsible for testing the following key areas:
Content (images, text, assets) are rendered properly
Links are not broken (all navigation and broken links to be reported)
Site performance (agreed tools and metrics)
Critical journey is intact (select key E2E journeys -Automated or manual)
Search validation on Google and Bing on agreed keywords (need to mention search ranking)
User-experience testing: Report inconsistencies, redundant content, functionality issues, lack of clarity, etc.

You will work closely with the content and development team to collaborate the efforts and ensure the web application continues to function smoothly.


Responsibilities

Complete functionality and User-experience testing of the web application
Testing across all major browsers, devices and screen sizes
Report Issues with steps to reproduce and all other relevant information
Regression testing for all fixed issues
Effective communication and coordination with development team for complex and recurring issues
Organising and labeling issues according to the component, project and priority order
Regular reporting on status of issues and flagging high priority issues

Requirements


Ability to work on multiple projects and websites simultaneously while maintaining the required standards and quality of work.
Ability to effectively communicate and work with the development, content and marketing teams.
Proficiency and hand-on experience in manual testing of web applications.
Hands-on experience working with testing and bug reporting tools such as Jira, Trello, Linear, etc.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Dev Tools on the browser.
