Senior Building Designer
We are seeking a Senior Building Designer to join our multi-award-winning building design company. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Concept Development: Create concept sketches from client briefs while adhering to building codes.
Drawing Production: Produce detailed concepts, preliminary plans, and working drawings for residential, multi-level, and commercial projects.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all documentation meets relevant regulations, including NCC, BCA, and QDC.
Collaboration: Work closely with clients, builders, and internal teams, maintaining strong professional relationships.
Independent Work: Manage tasks autonomously, while maintaining accountability and teamwork.
Quality Control: Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and high standards in all design outputs.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in a project building company or drafting firm.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ARCHICAD.
Strong understanding of construction methods and Australian building codes.
Ability to interpret and apply Covenants, POD, and Building Codes in technical documentation.
A strong portfolio showcasing previous projects and expertise.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Forward-thinking approach to design with an emphasis on innovative solutions.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years as a Senior Building Designer, particularly within the residential construction market.
