Job Description

Job Title: HR Advisor

Rapid Crushing & Screening Contractors Pty Ltd is a privately owned Australian company with over 46 years of experience in providing service and support to various sectors.

We are seeking a dynamic HR Advisor to support our Group Operations in Western Australia and Queensland, with the potential to expand to further geographic locations based on operational requirements.

The role will be based at our main office in Perth (Maddington), WA, and you may be required to travel to various locations at times.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with employees and line managers to provide timely contemporary advice on all HR/IR and performance-related topics.
Advise managers on relevant laws and regulations, awards, EBAs, workplace legislation, dispute and conflict resolution, performance improvement processes, and employee relations.
Support enterprise bargaining as required.
Conduct end-to-end recruitment, on-boarding, and induction of new employees including the coordination of site mobilisations.
Liaise with labour hire agencies, negotiate agreements, and be the main point of contact.
Process Apprentices and Visa Applications as required.
Assist in the development and maintenance of HR/IR policies, procedures, and associated documents.
Coach and support managers on performance planning and professional development.
Assist in identifying training needs and employee development where appropriate.
Provide payroll support and advice on award interpretation, pay clarification, and associated benefits.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience as a HR generalist in a mining/engineering/construction environment.
Tertiary qualifications in human resources, management, or a related discipline.
Solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements, applicable codes of practice, and workplace policies.
Recruitment and onboarding experience supporting enterprise bargaining.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with business leaders.
Experience with MYOSH will be advantageous.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
