Job Description

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Laws Degree and hold a valid practising certificate issued within a State or Territory of Australia. They will possess at least 5 years post-admission experience as a solicitor, gained with a reputable law firm or in-house team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team, a strong commitment to customer service, excellent attention to detail, and clear and concise communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in contract drafting, contract reviews, contract negotiations, advising on general legal issues, and regulatory requirements
Ability to interpret legal issues/advice and contract terms and communicate them clearly and succinctly to business operators
Ability to research complex legal issues involving legislative or case law interpretation
Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
