Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chef to join our team at BLUEPRINT BUSINESS ADVISORS PTY LTD. The successful candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations, menu planning, and food supply management. They will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and design menus while estimating food and labour costs
• Order and manage food supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations
• Monitor the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation
• Collaborate with Managers, and kitchen/waiting staff to address food preparation matters
• Demonstrate advanced cooking techniques and provide guidance on culinary procedures
Requirements:
• AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role may substitute for formal qualifications
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-quality dining environment is essential
• Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine is highly desirable
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
