Full time position Monday to Friday based in Perth, Western Australia focused on installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic instruments and control systems

JayChem provides specialised electronic control systems, unique chemistry, and industry leading equipment to enhance hygiene and efficiency across various industries. Our technical service team ensures optimal performance of commercial laundry and sanitation systems through expert installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance.

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Electronic Instrument Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on technical role that involves installing, modifying, maintaining, and repairing electronic instruments and control systems attached to commercial and industrial laundry equipment. The role is critical to ensuring that our large commercial clients achieve consistent, high-quality results through reliable equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

Install, calibrate, and maintain electronic instruments and control systems used in commercial laundry equipment
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic faults in automated dosing and laundry management systems
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electronic control panels and associated hardware
Read and interpret circuit diagrams, technical manuals, and wiring schematics to perform repairs and upgrades
Provide on-site technical support and training to clients on the correct use of equipment and electronic control systems
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all service and repair activities

Skills And Experience

Experience in diagnosing and repairing electronic control systems in industrial settings
Ability to work with circuit diagrams, technical schematics, and control interfaces
A safety-first mindset and ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels
Technical/process orientated thinker
Proven ability to solve problems using an established process
