The Role
As the Systems Integration and Software Application Engineer, you will be developing solutions in react.js (FE) and node.js (BE). You will work on both major new developments and maintenance of existing projects and will have a combined role of working directly with customers to determine requirements and then developing mission critical solutions. You will be expected to work hands-on integrating software and hardware solutions. This role is an ideal step to move into a team lead position in the future.

Key Skills Required
5+ years as experienced software engineer with proven coding skills; advantageous to have react.js front end development skills, JavaScript, node.js
Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Experienced with embedded Linux (Yocto)
Knowledge of network protocols (as used in router applications)
Experience with development tools for software development including coding, version control, build and defect tracking tools
Demonstrable experience wiring together electronic devices and using test instruments relevant to software and hardware integration
Advantageous to have:
Experience with processor architectures such as Micro blaze, Texas Instruments DSPs or ARM Controllers
2-Way radio experience
Experience with Scrum/Agile methodology
Customer service/support experience
