Salesforce Developer

NXT GIG is seeking a talented and knowledgeable Salesforce Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Salesforce applications and solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients. You will work closely with business analysts and other stakeholders to customize Salesforce functionalities, integrate third-party applications, and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Salesforce development practices, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Responsibilities

Design and implement customized Salesforce solutions leveraging Apex and Visualforce
Develop and maintain Lightning components and user interfaces for optimal user experience
Integrate Salesforce with external applications and services via APIs and middleware solutions
Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best development practices and coding standards
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce applications and users
Stay updated with Salesforce releases and industry trends to leverage new functionalities


Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a similar role working with Salesforce technologies
Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning
Experience in Salesforce integration using REST and SOAP APIs
Familiarity with Salesforce best practices and development lifecycle
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Developer, Platform Developer) are a plus
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail
