Food Service Assistant

Job Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and flexible individuals to join our Catering Assistant team at Victoria University of Wellington. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and exceptional service to our customers.

About the Role:

Basic meal preparation, cooking, baking, and grilling
Restocking and replenishing supplies
Providing a warm and welcoming service to residents
General cleaning of kitchen and front-of-house areas
Responsibilities and Requirements:

We are looking for someone who is a team player, able to work autonomously, and has a flexible approach and attitude. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, as well as holding NZQA Food Handling certificates Units 167 & 168. Physical fitness and reliability are also required.
