About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our student health team at Massey University. As a student health specialist, you will deliver high-quality primary care services to our diverse student population. The role is based in Palmerston North at our beautiful Manawatu Campus.
Main Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive primary care services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Provide clinical leadership and support to healthcare providers.
Ensure services meet legal obligations and adhere to relevant principles.
Participate in health service planning, policy development, and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered medical practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You should possess strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of health systems and regulations is also crucial.
Flexibility and Support
This role offers flexibility to meet your needs, availability, and skill set. You will work closely with counsellors and wellbeing advisers to enhance student health literacy. Paid administrative time and support are also provided.
