Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Head of Department to join our team and provide leadership across adult mental health services for Whangarei and Kaipara. This role offers an opportunity to shape and lead the service at an exciting time of development and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership across General Adult Community, Te Roopu Whitiora, Intensive Care Team, Dual Disability and Kaipara Community Team
Work closely with the Service Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve mental health outcomes for people accessing care
Collaborate with the clinical governance forum to identify areas for quality improvement and service development
Requirements
Specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in a Psychiatry vocational scope of practice
Eligibility for locum tenens registration
