About AWF New Zealand:

As part of our traffic management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of Wellington's road users, pedestrians and cyclists.

You will use temporary traffic management equipment and hand signals to direct traffic effectively.

Your role will also involve communicating hazards effectively and reporting incidents and near misses while adhering to all health and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit and injury free, with reliable transport to get to work on time. You will also need to have a valid driver's license and access to a private vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety of road users, pedestrians and cyclists
Direct traffic using temporary traffic management equipment and hand signals
Communicate hazards effectively
Report incidents and near misses while adhering to health and safety protocols
