Job Description
Electrical Power Systems Expertise
The Principal Electrical Power Engineer will require expertise in the design and development of electrical power systems for the British Navy. This includes functional design and definition of electrical power systems equipment, authoring technical documentation, and managing associated technical risks.
You will also provide expert advice on electrical power technical aspects across various engineering disciplines and work closely with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities
Functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment
Authoring and reviewing technical documentation
Managing associated technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies
Requirements
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Engineering Chartership required (or significant progress towards Chartership)
Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems
