Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor – Sowerby Woods, Cumbria.

We create new and innovative ways of working. This role will allow you to lead and support continuous improvement initiatives and be proactive in the development of practices and systems.

You will identify requirements for critical and other stocked spare parts and ensure proper use of stock system by all staff to maintain the integrity of stock management.

Your key responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and effective planned and reactive maintenance at all times and that downtime is minimised.

• Liaise with the wider site management team and ensure issues are communicated, priorities and actions are understood, and updates are provided.

• Drive and lead solutions to prevent reoccurrence of maintenance issues on site.

Essential criteria for this role:

• Electrically and mechanically trained, with time served experience working in a production environment.

• Possess a diploma or HNC/HND/C+G Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND/C+G Mechanical Engineering (or industry equivalent).

• Born leader with the ability to build and maintain strong, cohesive relationships at all levels.
