Part-Time Customer Service Representative

Job description
Our client, a growing beauty brand, is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join their team in a remote capacity (in the Los Angeles area to onboard in-office). The duration of this role is slated for approximately 3-6 months. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Zendesk and a strong background in customer service, particularly in the beauty industry.



Job Duties Include:

Respond to customer inquiries via Zendesk, including product questions, order issues, and return/exchange requests
Monitor Shopify for order tracking and assist customers with order-related concerns
Manage warranty claims, ensuring a seamless process for customers
Address product concerns from both DTC and wholesale customer
Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer issues, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues as needed
Maintain a brand-aligned voice in all customer interactions.
Manage an average of 10-15 tickets per day, with occasional spikes due to business needs
Additional duties as needed and assigned


Job Qualifications Include:

Experience using Zendesk is required
Prior experience and interest in beauty, highly preferred
Strong written communication skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
Experience with Shopify is a plus


Salary: $24/hr - $25/hr
