Multi-Trade Carpenter

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join North Warwickshire Council’s Social Housing Team on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• To undertake all aspects of Joinery and general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment work within company owned dwellings / properties and properties owned by partner organisations providing the best quality and most efficient service delivery and customer care in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
• Responsibility for undertaking allocated responsive repair jobs void works or planned maintenance jobs
• Attend pre-arranged responsive repair appointments to carry out work or contact tenants directly to make access arrangements
• Supply, maintain and ensure any required inspections and checks are made to personal tools appropriate to the trade and nature of works carried out.

Requirements:
• Qualified Joiner/Carpenter
• Previous experience of working in Social Housing
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Ability to work on an out of hours rota for emergencies
