Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our E-mobility group in Edinburgh, UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing tools used to test and deploy complex embedded wireless systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the embedded engineering and architecture teams to specify tool requirements.
Design and test tools.
Use the tools to develop, test and deploy wireless systems.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams.
Requirements:
Computer Science or equivalent graduate with 2-4 years of experience developing software.
Expert knowledge of modern Web Technologies and testing frameworks, especially React and Node.JS.
Experience of Agile development.
Motivated, results-oriented and creative problem solver with good writing, presentation and overall communication skills.
Willingness and ability to learn something new quickly.
Advantageous Skills:
Functional Programming concepts.
Python.
Embedded development experience.
MongoDB.
JIRA.
Wireless systems.
