The Role

We're looking for a Remote Operations Centre Engineer to provide technical support to ensure operational readiness and project continuity. This role involves monitoring and integrating systems required to execute work scopes from the Remote Operations Centre (ROC).

Your Responsibilities:

Support the setup, configuration, interfacing, and testing of ROC technologies;
Evaluate equipment status and ensure operational readiness;
Carry out maintenance, record defects, and report using appropriate mechanisms;
Monitor and report technical performance related to the ROC;
Maintain accurate stock levels and parts inventory;
Promote effective communication with client representatives, Project Managers, and other departments;
Develop and maintain clear documentation.
About You:

We're seeking an individual who can add value in a safe practice environment. You should be skilled in problem-solving, enjoy tackling technical challenges, and possess a proactive attitude. Teamwork and flexibility are essential for this role.

This position requires candidates to be based in Aberdeen or willing to relocate for rotational 12-hour shifts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant survey, electrical, or computing discipline;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for building strong relationships;
Prioritize workload to meet project deadlines;
Diligence in ensuring quality, safety, and attention to detail;
Discipline, self-motivation, and flexibility as a team player.
