Part-Time Criminal Law Assistant (3 Days Per Week) – Hybrid | Brisbane (PAID ROLE)

Job Description

A small but busy criminal law firm in Brisbane is looking for a motivated legal assistant or junior lawyer to join their team three days per week. This role is ideal for someone with law firm experience, preferably with court exposure, who is eager to develop their skills in criminal law.

About The Role

Assist with criminal law matters, including case preparation, document drafting, and court-related tasks.
Work hybrid – a mix of in-office and remote work.
Handle sensitive legal material with professionalism and discretion.

The Firm

Work under a criminal law partner with nearly 30 years industry experience
Receive one-on-one mentoring in a boutique law firm environment

About You

Prior experience in a law firm, ideally with some court exposure.
Familiarity with criminal law is a bonus but not essential.
Comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information in a busy legal practice.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
