Job Description

We are a leading ambulatory surgery center dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and exceptional service. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting positive patient outcomes by performing a variety of radiographic procedures in compliance with established protocols. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for exams and procedures, assessing patient condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures, assembling necessary supplies and positioning aids for scheduling your procedures according to your physician's preference card, testing and monitoring your equipment for proper working condition, documenting records and other forms, accurately adhering to approved policies/procedures, confirming that all persons in your room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray, communicating information about your patient's status to other staff responsible for your patient's care, and performing required maintenance of your instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also need to meet certain requirements, including being a graduate of an accredited school of radiology, having 1 year's experience as a Radiology Technician, preferably in an operating room or surgery center setting, holding certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and possessing a State Radiology Technician license.
