Job Description

Veolia Water Technologies' Hydrex Chemical Solutions Group is seeking a Water Management Technician in the greater Baltimore/Frederick MD, and Washington D.C. areas. This position involves the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of a variety of industrial and commercial water and wastewater treatment equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collect and test water samples to determine concentration levels and impurities and generate a Veolia Vision service report
Perform all scheduled maintenance, service, and new installations of water treatment equipment.
Responsible for accurate record keeping of client data such as residual content of chemicals, water turbidity, and water pressure and chemical inventories.
Comply with all client safety requirements and training.
Coordinate with other operators throughout customer locations in order to maintain the plants water treatment equipment.
Be present for all annual or semi annual equipment inspections or shutdown and be capable of generating an inspection report.
Coordinate with Veolia purchasing department to order water treatment supplies, such as equipment and chemicals, in order to maintain the client's water treatment equipment and chemical inventory.
Compile data for monthly operating reports to in house management and client management and during annual reviews
Responsible for training client's personnel in the proper operating procedures for water treatment equipment.
Troubleshoot problems within client's water treatment equipment and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Operate and maintain a company service vehicle.
